Excellent snug fit – but short hair required! – This is an excellent, protective, snug-fitting mask. The elastics fit around the back of the head – they are not ear loops. That style is great for people with glasses or hearing aides or both. If you have very short hair, this should work for you. BUT if you have long, thick hair, the elastics around the back of your head will tend to move and shift and the mask will not stay put properly. Also you will find it annoying (as I did). Short hair is a must for this mask to work. My husband, who is a physician and has short hair, loves the high quality and fit of the mask.

Best N95 mask on the market! Must have for everyday use. – If you need N95 masks, these should be your first option to look at. The fish-style is very accommodating to all face shapes and sizes, and it fits snugly without feeling like it’s compressing the tip of my nose. I also really prefer the top-and-bottom straps over an over-the-ear loop in terms of comfort.

Effective Low Cost Protection – I owned a set of N-95s that I paid MUCH more to get, that are a better product. However, it looks like there are going to be extended periods of time when N-95 protection is required. So, I bought this lower-cost N95. It fits comfortably for the most part. However, the bands holding it on are similar to Rubber-bands and can be quiet uncomfortable if it sits on your head incorrectly at all, as it tends to irritate the ear. Overall, I’d buy it again.

Good quality mask at reasonable cost – I’ve tried a number of different N95 NIOSH certified masks. This 3M mask was one of the most comfortable. It fits nicely and does form a reasonable seal across the nose with the foam padding in the nosepiece. 3M is a bit more costly than a number of other brands partly due to the way they are distributed rather than purchasing directly from a manufacturer as one can do with some other US made brands. The retailer (Old South Trading) shipped the product quickly (via UPS) and they arrived in excellent condition in their factory sealed individual packets.

These work! – My personal rating on these is 100%. My experience is that they definitely work when you wear them, and wear them properly. I’ve worn them for long hours for international travel, and have even slept with one on when necessary. You have to be careful about putting them on at first, to not break the straps- that’s easy to get used to. When you get used to them they are quite comfortable. The 20-pack is a good value because you have to discard them after a full day or two of use and take a new one. If you’re only using them for brief periods like shopping or visiting, an hour a day, for example, one mask can last a week or two.

New, but Not in Box – I order these from Staples, and they had a smell to them. These do too. Smell goes away if you open the packaging for about a day before use. These were not in a box. However, they were still individual wrapped. I think the ones with the light blue rubber strap have the smell. I had the same style except with the white elastic strap and they don’t smell.
