Works well! – Works great for hanging ribbon for a name banner. Easy to remove and didn’t leave an adhesive residue. They were not hung on painted surfaces so I can’t speak to that!

Bought these for flat led lights and they definitely not for that application lmao – The adhesive used does not like walls with water based paints even after washing the wall but that also could be due to the fact that I put tension on the clips either way though they are definitely not for me

Perfect for indoor Christmas lights – I used these to hang multiple sets of Christmas lights inside my classroom. I spaced them two feet apart and the lights hung perfectly. I had to readjust a couple of them while putting the lights up, and I was able to move them (following the directions with pulling the tab) without damaging the painted walls. I’m very happy with this purchase. It was exactly what I needed!

Perfect size for thin cords – I used these to hide the cords from plug-in under counter lights and they worked great! The hardware that came with the under-counter lights consisted of rubber strips held up by two tiny screws. I tried to put in one and gave up, then I googled “accessories to conceal wiring” and this product came up. I bought 3 sets and wasn’t sure, but I’m so pleased. It took a little time, and I used almost all of them, but can you imagine, if I had used the hardware that came with the lights, it would have taken me forever and put a ton of little holes in the cabinets and shelves. Ugh. These seem to stick well, so far, but if you put one in the wrong place, it really does just come off when you pull the tab. But then it’s ruined, so deciding placement first is key. And make sure the surface is super clean. Now that I know how to use them and how well they work, I’m getting more to put up lights in my bedroom and office. These clips don’t mar the surface and are great. I didn’t use them for anything heavy, though.
