Major bang for your buck – Considering even store brand filters may still be at least $8, this package is a STEAL. We’ve saved so much money and kept our new HVAC unit running smoothly with consistent filter changes.

It’s a filter, it works. – It’s not the strongest out there and susceptible to warping making it a bit fiddly to remove but it’s a decent filter for your HVAC system.

Quality- In between low and middle – This MERV 8 filter gets the job done but doesn’t filter effectively after mild use, so ultimately will require to be changed more frequently than the name branded filters. (If hvac is ran non stop).

Airflow direction arrow – Even though I know which way and direction the filter should be inserted, it might be a good idea to also print an arrow on at least one edge of the filter frame.

Better than expected! – Honestly, for the price I was expecting a flimsy filter but i just needed some on hand so I was willing to take that risk. However, I got 6 well-packaged, very nice filters. In fact, I was mentioning them to someone and they said ‘ugh i need to replace my filters but they are so expensive’. I immediately told them to look on Amazon. I never would have thought to get filters online for fear they would be damaged in the process but they are perfect!

Pay Attention To ‘Merv’ Ratings! – i installed my first new filter a few days ago and I do think that the air feels cleaner. I’ll wait a few more days to determine the dust accumulation. it’s important to know about Merv ratings. It has to do with the filtering capability of the filter. Most of the filters that you purchase in stores has a Merve rating of 6, which is a fair filter rating. These have a rating of 8, meaning that they do a much better job of capturing dirt, dust, etc. 8 is a very good filter for homes. higher ratings can be too tight of a weave and could cause issues with your AC unit because they may not allow sufficient air flow. The other big consideration is that the cost isn’t that much different that what you’d pay for one of the higher priced filters from the ‘Big Box’ stores.
