Product highlights :

  • THICKER: 3.9 mil / 0.1mm foil tape. Metal glosses, good insulation. The metal duct tape is too thin is easy to break, and too thick is difficult to fit the pipe surface. The thickness of 3.9mil is moderate for use. So foil tape of 3.9mil is not easy to break and is your best choice.
  • MORE STICKY: Our aluminum foil tape is made of premium pressure-sensitive adhesive. Persistent adhesion is provided at low and high temperatures. (Long-term temperature resistance: 120℃, Short-term temperature resistance: 130℃) UV resistant, moisture resistant, heat resistant and show good performance in any type of weather.
  • EASY TO SEPARATE: Due to the thicker foil and paper. Our HVAC tape is easier to strip the edges with a slight tear. The aluminum tape itself does not wrinkle and curl and is easier to work and saves you time. Paste more firmly, tear off more easily, leave no trace without residual glue.
  • MULTI-PURPOSE: Aluminum foil tape is suitable for smooth flat and irregular surfaces. It is generally used for sealing hot and cold air ducts (excellent HVAC duct tape), pipe insulation systems, sealing aluminum, stainless steel and plastic joints/joints, temporary repair of metal surfaces, copper pipe fixing, etc. Extensive applicability to meet your daily needs.
  • WHAT YOU GET: 1 Roll aluminum tape (2 inches x 65 feet), our 7*24 friendly customer services for peace of mind.

Does not stick to mesh screens well – It was suggested to me to cover the top of my ball python tank with this material in order to keep humidity in. It was a little difficult to lay the strips down but i managed to get solid coverage. I have seen some lifting in the adhesion over time and have had to replace the time a few times. Probably works better when used as intended

Other tapes don’t work as well as these. – I’ve tried other metal tapes and they do not adhear as well as this one. Others slide off after a while. This one adhears well.

Weatherize the window – I didn’t take out the A/C unit from the window and there was a draft coming in. I used the tape to seal the sides of theA/C and it did a good job.

    4. P. I (verified owner)

Great insulator – Works great love that it lets me get the right amount of tape everytime

Good quality for price – This is NOT that bogus “Aluminized Mylar” (thermal blanket) tape where they take plastic and spray like a single micron worth of Aluminum over it, call it “Aluminum Tape”, and it’s barely sticky. This is thick-ish Aluminum foil with seemingly good quality glue, or whatever you call it. I folded it in half and was trying to feed it through a small slit between computer case and liquid cooling fan (wanted to close the venting around the fan to keep airflow moving from intake to exhaust) and it kept getting stuck to the fan where I had to pull a bit to get it off and then re-fidget the tape so it was straight and then try again, so this stuff is fairly sticky. I used a smaller piece on the corner and it wasn’t sticking the best, but after cutting a bigger chunk and touching up the corner that stuff seems ON THERE, I disagree with reviews that say this stuff doesn’t stick to itself, seems pretty good to me. The liquid cooling fan/coil gets pretty warm (not heating duct hot, but still fairly warm to point it might dry out the glue or something) so I will try to update as the tape ages to see if it keeps its strength and stays on there (if this listing is still around/active by then >_>).

It Work For My Dryer Vent – This tape was perfect for the issue I had with my dryer vent. It had been ages since the vent was cleaned out. I’m aware that damp lint can build up in dryer vent. Over the years it becomes like a crust on the inside of the vent. Unfortunately my vent is in back of the washer. We had to switch the positions of the appliances because of the way the front loading doors opened. As I checked the vent I saw that it had caps on the end of the vent tube. Those caps can be taken off, but they needed to be put back on after I cleaned out the vent tube. The metal tape was the perfect answer. I placed the cap back on the tube and applied the tape accordingly. It all works like a dream, and I saved myself the cost of an appliance technician. I would have tried duck or gorilla tape, but heat builds up in the vent, and I didn’t want to have an issue with the caps coming off because the tape couldn’t take the heat. Live and learn
