You just got to line up the rails on the sides and slide it in until it stops. – I called my installer for a yearly inspection and filter change, but they were swamped with “emergency work”, they gave me some vague time frame, so I had to take it upon myself to order this filter myself because the year was up and the filter was badly needing to be changed, and my system was $8000.00 with HEPA system and humidifier, so, I take care of it. This filter is a change-and-forget for one whole year, which is nice, I also was tempted to change manufacturers, but I decided to stay with a Made in Wisconsin quality filter. Besides, there is no alternative to their patent design rail system-just, a generic slide-in cardboard filter that will not create a good seal for the air being filtered. After a year, the filter is busy but still following the recommended time change suggestion to keep the value reasonable on my part.
