I am thrilled – This filter is the best because of the KDF 55 media mostly. I have well water. I’ve tried some of the other filters and they helped a bit but after 2 weeks I had to change the filter. One claimed to have all sorts of media but I cracked open and only the carbon was present. Not so with this particular filter. I’m so happy. It takes diligent research if you wish to effectively fend off things that silently lurk in your shower water and absorb into your hair and scalp. Yes we now know the skin does absorb things. Not all things but to a significant degree and I thank this company for being as passionate about clean water and being informed of the water we use. I can’t afford a whole house filtration but I will sometime soon.

Frizziness gone! – My thinning hair were frizzy after every wash even though i used conditioner. This filter helped the frizz and its gone. Face Skin is not dry anymore after bath. Only downside is that it doesn’t open easily so I had to buy 2 filters and kept the one which opened and returned the other.

Immediate noticeable difference!! – Installation: I installed this myself, took about 5 minutes. The kit came with the gasket washers, tiny screen filters and the plumbers tape!! I think it looks great, is not too bulky and I love that it comes in several finish options. It does lower your shower head just a few inches. This filter is obviously a much more affordable and accessible option compared to whole house filters that are expensive and not feasible for apartment life.

Showering is NOW a new experience – I bought this filter for all the same reasons why people who do shower did, because the water you drink and bath in is not of quality , and its not going to get better, the issue with the assembly some may have had is they overtighten the filter shell, and for those who could not get it ooen to change the filter , with water going through it, i suggest a light coat of antisieze onbthe threads of the shell to ease in re-install new filter. I had no leaks , plug and play, my body feels much cleaner after i shower, and my eyelids dont stick like before, and dry eye , i know i have blephridious, but the excess chlorine dont aid either. If your water sucks? Thanks for joining the club! Trynthis and monitor the time u put in till the next change, i turn on then off during shower to save on filter life , see if that works . The water in my park could be used to tan a bear hide, this helped me , you try and make your own conclusion.

Best my skin has ever felt – I’d had the entry model aqua bliss filter before, and while it was fine, I’d moved to an old building with lead pipes so I bought this. This heavy duty model has my skin feeling the best and smoothest it’s ever felt. Highly recommend.

Eliminates hard water deposits in the shower – I bought this with the hope that it would make my skin feels softer, much like having a water softener. Sadly, I have not noticed any softer water feel, but I have noticed that I no longer get hard water deposits on my shower glass like I did before installing this, so IMO that alone makes it worth the money. It is super easy to install. I gave it 4 stars because of its bulky size, which takes up a lot of room in my shower head. And, because it does not have that soft water feel that I was expecting. However, overall a good purchase.

Works well, but difficult/impossible to unscrew – The filter portion of this product is perfect. The smell in my water was gone immediately and I finally felt like my water was clean. However, when I first unscrewed it to make sure the filter was already inside (it was), I had to have my boyfriend unscrew it and it was even tough for him. A couple of weeks later, it somehow got a little unscrewed, and in screwing it back, the little rubber piece got stuck outside and now there is water spraying out of it and nobody can get it unscrewed. I have no idea how anyone would be unscrewing it easily when it comes time to change the filter.
