Didn’t know how much I would use this… All the time! – I wanted to wait several weeks before writing a review to see how it would hold up or honestly how much I would even use it. I never even considered getting one until I was housesitting for a lady with several cats. As I was tidying up daily I realized how handy it was not to have to drag out the vacuum two or three times a day. So I decided to break down and get one myself. She had another model (that was way beyond my price range) so I did a bit of research and have always had good luck with Black & Decker products so decided to give this one a go. I had no idea that I would be using this thing several times every day to get into those little cracks and crevices, to clean up after my own pets instead of having to drag out the vacuum. So convenient, so handy, so lightweight. Suction power is great…. not comparable to an upright vacuum of course but it’s handheld so you can’t expect that. but for furniture, for carpet, for quick around the litter box cleanups, for dogs with muddy feet and for clumsy kitchen spills (nothing wet) this thing is awesome! For the price point I really was not expecting a product this good. And I love that I do not have to keep the button pressed down while in use. The pricier model I used while housesitting you have to have the button continually compressed and my hand cramped up quickly. I have to use this thing for a solid 15 minutes to even notice any fatigue in my hand and I don’t have the youngest hands in the world…. If you were looking for a hand held vacuum for quick, frequent cleanups. For me, this one is hard to beat! Sidenote, as stated above do not suck up anything wet! You will have to disassemble and clean the filters and then let them dry completely before using again. But it does state very clearly it is designed to vacuum dry things only. There is a little flat where the suction tube meets the chamber and sometimes little things can get stuck in there but was able to get out with a wooden skewer very very easily. Small price to pay. Very happy with this purchase

Works Great and Still Going Strong A Year Later. – We have always had a “dustbuster” for small vacuum jobs but the batteries never lasted abs the suction was always poor. We threw money away year after year replacing them. Researched a new one last year and purchased this, BLACK+DECKER 20V Max Handheld Vacuum, Cordless, Grey (BDH2000PL). I spent a little more money on this and it was worth it. POWERFUL suction and the rechargeable battery lasts for a long time. The adjustable angled nozzle makes it easy to get into difficult spots. Easy to empty and the attached brush make it simple to position… and find it. Great purchase and product. Don’t look any further.

Impressive design and suction, but….. – First of all, this is a pretty good design, with superior suction, and a thoughtful, user friendly design. But, as previously pointed out, when the batteries fail, Black & Decker really lets the customer down by not providing a replacement battery pack, even though it’s extremely easy for the end user to access that battery pack for replacement.

Best handvac ever – I bought a white on on HSN. N it stoped after a year I was told its been overcharged . It sits in it’s holder n it’s plugged in . No instructions on recharging . Anyway . It’s true it’s like the old cell phones don’t overcharge . I bought 3ithes since the first one they are powerfully for car n spot cleaning in house inside draws . Best hand vac ever wish they sold seperate battery. Couldn’t find another white one again . All black on Amazon

Powerful and dependable – I’ve had this vacuum for 6 months and I love it. Suction is very powerful. Emptying dirt and cleaning the filter is easy. Pivot feature is very useful. It holds a charge for a very long time- I typically use it for small jobs and it never runs down. The majority of hand vacs that I’ve bought have not stood up under this type of use. My only complaint is that I find it difficult to push the crevice tool back into place. I use the extension a lot when picking up small messes from the floor and pushing it back in requires finger pressure that is a problem with my arthritis. I would absolutely buy it again.
