Long charge life – Got this replacement charger for the battery that powered a B+D weed trimmer I found at a yard sale. It’s what I expected—it works flawlessly right out of the box.

Economical, Small Footprint, Reasonable Charge Rate – Price is reasonable for this small charge system, which is identical to that B&D supplies with several of their tools, but the more important characteristic (at least for me) is the compact size or footprint for this charger. Rather than trying to find a ‘faster’ charger, which actually wouldn’t not be that much faster, but would require more space on a workbench already too full with such devices, this easily plugs into any available outlet and clips on the battery. In this way it is easy to charge two batteries at once, with no worry of overheating due to a high charge current that a faster charger might cause.

Perfect Replacement – I received the rechargable set as a gift some time ago and have used it flawlessly since, but unfortunately somewhere along the line I lost the charging cable. I honestly hadn’t noticed because the battery has lasted for so long, but when it came time to recharge, I couldn’t . This cord bailed me out and does exactly what I need.
