Best way to set up Christmas lights. – I was tired of opening the door to go outside to plug in the outdoor Christmas lights during the cold winter weather. This programmable timer takes care of that with no problem. The fact that it is also weather-proof is an added plus. Love this!

Easy to use…replacing all of my Christmas lights timers with these. – Love the cover that you can close over the digital screen.. Easy to set the time and set the schedule. Directions are simple. Two outlets, works exactly as intended. All of my old timers that I plan to replace have the on/off, dusk to dawn, 4 hr, 6 hr, and 8 hr fucntions. They never work right. These are the way to go. Get these.

How to turn it on AUTO – I think these will work just fine, but the one step that the directions fail to mention is how to turn them on AUTO once you set up your schedule. Hold down the manual button for about 5 seconds until the screen says “AUTO OFF.” Let go, then hit Manual one more time to turn Auto ON. To switch it back to Manual On/Off, just hold down manual again.

Compact, with one exception, easy to set, otherwise works as advertized. – The device has survived heavy rain without shorting, was mostly easy to set (as other reviewers have noted, one needs to hold the “auto” button down to cycle through the settings), looks and feels rugged and the display is reasonably clear with good LCD contrast. The price relative to the competition is also reasonable. Although too soon to evaluate reliability from year to year, everything’s a go for now.

Quality Timer – No regrets – Product arrived on time and in good condition, been working with no issues so far. Easy set up – only caveat to that is it was easy setup only because of the instructions which I’ll need to save for future use (which is always a good idea anyways, just saying if I lost those instructions it may take a bit to figure out again how to program) as it’s not very intuitive in terms of it’s programming. However WITH instructions, super easy to program. Again no problems and no regrets; in fact just bought a second one recently. Solid buy.
