Christmas lights. – We thought we’d try this remote outlet for indoor Christmas lights. What a nice surprise! So absolutely easy to setup. We connected table lamps in other rooms just to test them for usefulness. They are great. Forget just decorative lighting, use them for any other lights. So easy. Sit in one room and turn your lights off and on. And the price can’t be beat. We ordered more and also ordered remote outlets for outside lights.

Wireless remote is so easy to use, just plug them in and enjoy – I could never figure out how to use timers but I bought these wireless remotes and they are wonderful. When I want my Christmas lights to come on I just click the remote and on comes the lights. You just plug your lights into the connectors and they respond to the remote when you press it, easy!!!

Great when you either can’t reach your electric item, have multiple floors, or are lazy! – I’ve used these types of remotes through the years. I had a 2-story (no AC) with a stand up fan shooting down from the banister into the living room to cool the room. I used one of these units so I wouldn’t have to go up and down stairs to turn on the fan on and off (multiple times a day). I also use them for table lamps that are difficult to get at to turn knobs on. This is great for people who can’t turn knobs, difficult to get around, etc. I sent this to my sister. You plug your electric device into one of the 3 outlets, then the outlet unit into your wall outlet, and use the remote to turn it on. Don’t forget to remove the thin plastic film some companies put in to keep the batteries fresh. I bought a single remote outlet as my OLD Westinghouse remote outlet finally died. It turns off, but not on. You can imagine how old that remote outlet is! Anyway, I use these in the bedroom where I have a spot for my Kindle and plug in the Kindle charger and leave it there. I have the remote outlet in a multi-outlet surge protector that’s plugged into the wall that the Remote outlet is inserted into. When I’m ready to charge my Kindle, I hit the remote on button; when the Kindle is charged, I press off button on remote. I have an OLD house with NOT ENOUGH outlets and a tiny bedroom, I can’t even get to the wall outlets due to my 5pc bedroom set, plus this old house has 2-pronged wall outlets (except in kitchen/bathrooms) which is a nightmare. BTW, these are two-pronged remote outlets, so they’ll work in either type wall outlet (2 or 3-prongs). Yes. I will buy these again for ease of doing daily routines like switching things on and off without throwing my hip or back out. They seem to be strong enough (with watts/Angs) for small home humidifiers, air purifiers, etc., but I’m more comfortable plugging those types of electrical items DIRECTLY into the wall outlet — just to be safe. Weatherproof – I’d only EVER use these types indoors safe from water/rain. Good luck, and save me some!

The secret to outside light decor – What a value for the money super eays to use and install and you are able to control 3 separate light sources with one remote so every morning as i leave for the gym instead of crawling to the side of my house i can easily click 1 and voila my outside decor shuts off same for at dusk when im ready one clicks and its back on. #2 controls the Xmas tree and although we haven’t found use for 3 I may connect it to my sons tv as he seems to always forget to shut it off!!! How did we ever live without this??

I love these! – I love these! I have 3 sets I love them so much! I have a set in each if my daughters’ rooms because it’s so convenient for controlling the lights. Ex: it’s nap time and I have a baby on my lap while sitting on my toddler daughter’s bed reading a story. Story is over and now the light needs turned off. Instead of fumbling around trying to get off the bed to turn the lights off for nap time, I simply click them off and stay in place until toddler is asleep. Ex 2: I’m rocking/feeding the baby and she is starting to get sleepy. I need the light off but I can’t reach without disturbing her, solution – clicking them off with the remote. So easy!! I also use these for Christmas decorations and year round for lamps, wax warmer, etc. too! Highly recommend!

easy way to control electric plugs – We got these 3 remote control switches to control both indoor and outdoor Christmas lights. They work well from a single spot in the house, including the 1 in the garage. They are a little bulky so to plug them into a power strip I used a little pig tail to connect like I use for other bulky plug items.
