You won’t look back – Never had a laser level before buying one of these. Used to use bubble levels and lines etc. Once I tried this I was hooked. Super easy and very accurate. The clamp it comes with is great for a door across the room or pair it up with a tripod with height adjustment for easy level tailoring.

Huge upgrade worth the money! – This laser level is a huge upgrade compared to traditional laser levels. It has all the same functionalities, but the flexibility of placement and the self leveling feature save so much time and make it a lot easier to complete projects. My only complaint is that there is a “not level” flashing warning that happens, which can’t be disabled. This is good for when you are trying to measure a square angle, but when you only care about one line and need to cram it into a weird spot to get that line, the flashing is annoying.

Defect on an angle – My unit would not auto level when the unit is titled like in the promotional photos show it used at an angle on a stair case. It would blink ever 3 seconds, indicating an error per the manual but this should be a normal use case. Not sure if I have a defective unit. Looked new. Will contact for warranty replacement.

Should have read the reviews first – Had to admit I made the purchase due to some deal website that stated this was a deal, which is not true at all( has been at the same price for almost two months now). The product itself is easy to use, and the class of the laser is safe enough. However, two drawbacks pulls the rating back. One is the mounting kit comes with it. It is very difficult to use, and have no auto-stability capability to help the device lock at a stable position when you are working. I mean, you will definitely make some shake when working on things that needs a thing like this, and the kit is not helpful at all to overcome the second drawback from the device. The mechanism for the product, I believe, has a light filter that a slim shutter is applied to make sure the crossline is horizontal and vertical, while any small movement of the device will void the light out of the device due to that. Overall, for light work, it is totally fine, and you’d better use marker before any actual work.
