NOTE: This product fits MOST standard faucets. For fit issues, please call BRITA Consumer Services at 1-800-24-BRITA (U.S.) or 1-800-387-6940 (CANADA). 1. Unscrew the aerator from your faucet. 2. Determine if you need an adapter (if faucet threads are on the outside, you will most likely not need an adapter).If your faucet threads are on the inside, you will need to use one of the adapters and washers provided. Select the proper adapter and washer that fit your faucet. If neither fits, please call BRITA Consumer Services. 3. Attach the base of your system to your faucet. 4. Supporting the bottom of the base system with one hand, insert the filter cartridge into the filter cup until a “click” is heard. 5. Hold the filter cartridge above the filter cup; align the Insert Groove on the lower part of the cartridge with the corresponding groove inside the front of the filter cup. 6. A green signal will flash within 10 seconds, indicating that the filter is engaged (only for Model FF-100 with Advanced Features). 7. Turn filter handle to the filtered BRITA water setting. 9. Turn on the faucet to flush the new filter for 5 minutes. (The 100-gallon filter life begins after the 5-minute flush period) Filters should be replaced after approximately 100 gallons of filtered water or about every 4 months.

Water tastes great now. – Product is great for filtering the water making it drinkable and having the filter attached to the faucet is so convenient. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because the filter snaps into place easily, but it is hard to grasp to take it off. I would appreciate any advice on how to take off the filter. Perhaps there is a trick that I don’t know about. Also, it is difficult to read red/green notification. It doesn’t light up. I have to use a flashlight to shine down on the red/green window and use a mirror to see the status of the filter. Other than these two issues, I love the product.

Filter works, but the unit falls off too easily on some faucets. – I was reading the reviews of people who have water spray all over or the filter popping off, or the unit falling off. I also read how it was “more than likely” user error with faulty installation. I decided to take a gamble and buy two of them. One for my house and one for my parents house.

Decent – If you have a shallow sink or a low hanging faucet this is probably not what you want or need. Cleaning dishes etc around this thing is not easy. I found it difficult to install as the instructions aren’t clear. You Tube gave me an assist but the You Tube creators agreed. Other than that, I am enjoying not having to have a giant thing in my fridge just because the filter is so large.

Very hard to turn on! – The water taste is great but the turn on handle is difficult to turn! I have arthritis and won’t buy it again. But it’s better than bottled water plastic waste!

Super easy to install and worth the money – This product is great for people like me. I sometimes run out of water bottles and I use this, and at times I just like to wash dishes in clean water. So this is a great product for both of those options. It has a switch where you can filter or just simply run the water from it.
