Great bulbs, but don’t keep much charge – These are bright and the remote works great. They’ll screw into any lamp. But, there’s a reason they’re marketed as emergency bulbs and not as a DIYers fix to electrical wiring. I find myself hesitant to use these because I know I’ll have to recharge them after 4 hours of total usage. Probably better as a pantry light or something than a bedside light.

The bulb works great. The remote not do good. – I like that you can use this bulb as a regular light bulb, but if the power goes out or you need to have light where there is no power source, it’s there for you. Unfortunately the remote is not do great. The one I got had a problem with the off button. It didn’t work more than say 30% of the time. Also the range was short and you had to have the bulb in sight. I’m only just around the corner from the doorway to the room it was in and it did not work. Which wasn’t what I expected from my experience with similar products. So that was disappointing. However when the remote finally gave up completely Amazon customer service came to the rescue and replaced everything free of charge and did not have me send the faulty one back. Even though I had it just outside the return window. It was only the remote that didn’t work. The bulb works fine. Also if I would compare this warm white watt equivalent to more like a 45 watt bulb. Perhaps the cool white one is brighter.

These work great when you actually use them correctly! I am loving them in some sconces that I added without hardwiring.
