Line it up JUST right. – These are a pain to install. If you get the alignment off just a bit, it’s not going to work. And the sticky is super sticky, so there is no room for error. Once it’s on and comes off, it’s not going to stick well again. (kind of a pro and a con in one)

If Possible Use the Included Screws to Firmly Secure Latch – The adhesive worked well to keep each part of the latch in place while I drilled pilot holes and installed screws.

Simple like I like! – I received these yesterday and just installed them. I used the adhesive option. So not sure how good they stick just yet. The other little parts, not sure what they are for, I didn’t use them. They were simple to install, hopefully, it’ll keep my 1yr inquisitive toddler out the cabinets.

My 15 month old figured these out – The adhesion on these isn’t great but I like the option to screw them in. These are a good classic child lock but my 15 month old figured them out so they have become useless for us. I don’t know if that’s common or it’s just my curious son. Still good quality.

It worked for my first child who is now 4.5 and still doesn’t get into the cabinets, and it works for our 18 month old who now wants to get into everything. So, they’ve worked for over 3 years, and we bought more because kid #2 is way more curious about the contents of the cabinets than kid #1, so we locked down more cabinets! They work great and for the long term!
