Simple, effective, good glue – These only take a few seconds to install and do a great job. I use them to keep a curious cat out of lower cupboards. It’s trivial for adults to open and it’s easy to get used to.

good latches but adhesive is not good. – these work good but the adhesive is very bad. does not stick very well at all. even a one year old will be able to rip them right off. i ended up drilling a hole on each side and screwing them onto the inside of the cabinet. i also put a screw about 7 inches below them and a large rubber band so i can lock them in the open position. i’m a grandpa and grand son is only over here about once a week. i don’t want to be having to open them every day when he’s not here. the rubber band thing works great. i would probably buy a better set just because of the adhesive.

The adhesion was not sticky enough, I need to screw it on the drawers. – I used it in my RV to prevent the drawers fall out while driving. However, the adhesion was not sticky enough, so I have to drill holes and screw it on the drawers.

Could be a Tad Bit Improved – Overall, these are great for the price. They stick pretty well and works, but there are some tricks I learned to optimize their efficiency. These come with catch bars, but they’re not totally needed. I had to make sure the latches are lined up exactly at the top of the drawer and straight, otherwise these won’t work as expected and the catch bar will be needed. I have 2 drawers where one wasn’t exactly at the top of the drawer or the latch bar wasn’t perfectly straight (and I mean perfectly straight) and don’t work on and my baby figured it out. It opens without effort and the catch bar fell right off after a few hours. The adhesion also came off with no effort, so Idk how great the stickies are. If using the catch bar, make sure the latch is slightly (just slightly) below the catch bar, otherwise, the drawer won’t close flush. I do recommend these, but the instructions could be improved without me figuring it out with trial and error.

Good design, bad adhesive – Install was self explanatory and is easy to use but still keeps my toddler from pulling the drawers open. I used it on a flat faced entertainment center and while I only had 3 drawers to lock, I had to use 6 different locks because the adhesive wasn’t sticking strong enough. I ended up having to scrubbing off the original adhesive and adding my own double sided tape. once that was on, the latches worked perfectly!
