      I like only having to plug in one cord – This works pretty well in my setup. My village pieces are right next to each other for the most part and these bulbs fit fine, and I only have to use one outlet. There’s approximately 6-7 inches between each bulb on the cable. I ended up having a bulb with no village piece but it still works because I just unscrew the one I am not using and the string still works fine. But these are designed to work in Department 56 pieces and they don’t necessarily work in other collections. I have a couple of Carol Towne pieces from Lowe’s and the bulbs didn’t fit very well. So keep this in mind when deciding how to use this. Other than that I like it

      I’ve needed this solution for years! – I have struggled with managing excess cord and power strips so much that I quit putting up my Dickens Village every year. Decided to try again this year with battery powered fairy lights, but found this little gem and thought I’d order it. I was afraid the distance between the lights would be too short but it’s perfect at about 14”. This device makes the whole process so much easier!!

Upon putting them into the houses, the first set blew out. As a result I am having to reorder. This time I am ordering individual strings of lights.

However, they only worked in the houses with perfectly flat bottoms….about 1/2 my village has concave bottoms, and they will not clip into those. Had to rearrange my set up to be able to use, but still a useful purchase to get rid of 5 plugs.
