Does work well – takes time to get the hang of it – Only used this 2 or 3 times since purchase. Takes a little getting used to. My dog handles the noise pretty well and the grinding sensation on the nails but I can see more reactive dogs not taking to this well. Would probably require some conditioning to get the dog used to it. Make sure to get extra grinding discs as they don’t seem to last too long.

ITs a very good purchase – This dog grinder is a beast, it’s way better than any other out there for sale, plus you can use it for other projects. this works way better than the other nail cutters, this thing grinded my dog’s nails down like a hot knife thru butter. it’s well worth the money, and can be used for any rotatory tool job.

Best nail grinder yet! – We have an 80lb dog who doesn’t love… but doesn’t hate getting her nails done. This dremel seems to be a pretty great help so far. We couldn’t use the cap on top with the flat wheel grinder. It just didn’t make sense for us and was bulky. We ended up removing that cap and using the barrel grinder immediately. The noise seemed better than the previous brands we tried, let’s be honest no grinder will ever be silent. The ability to adjust the speed was the best feature on this hands down. We were able to get a speed that was comfortable for her. Wasn’t too hot. The vibrations weren’t too much and we could still chew through her nails quickly and finish in a reasonable time before she lost her patience. I did miss the little light to help see the quick that most pet grinders have. But we just used a phone flashlight. Next time with better planning we will have a flashlight ready. This is cordless and charged quickly

The device is fine but — WARNING — the included manual contains erroneous information – First, this review addresses important misleading information in the product manual that was packed with the product and, second, provides some initial comments on the Dremel tool itself.

Easy to use and saved a ton of money at the groomer! – My 11 year old lab has never had her nails trimmed at the groomer, so I was worried. I’ve used clippers before, with terrible results. They terrify her, she’s not cooperative, and she tries to nip at me. Now that it’s winter, her nails were so long, and driving us nuts with the constant clicking on wood floors. I ordered these trimmers in a last-ditch effort to save everyone’s sanity. Right out of the box, they were intuitive to charge and use. My dog laid on the floor and let me do all of her nails without any problems. I kept a pocket full of treats, and gave her one every few minutes, and she remained calm the whole time. No incidents, pain, or fear, and it was all very easy. I couldn’t say enough nice things about these trimmers and how easy, safe, and valuable they are!

Great for trimming my chocolate lab’s nails! – We picked this up so we wouldn’t have to pay the $27 charge at the vet. Me and my two kids are able to get our puppies nails trimmed fairly easily by distracting him with some food to eat. I can cut his nails as frequently as I want, which is nice because it’s keeping them short.

Easy to use! – I love that this is cordless so I don’t have to worry about being close to an outlet. The only dislike I have is the discs wear out extremely fast
