EASY ASSEMBLY But not as sturdy as anticipated – I live in FL where the lime and other chemicals eat away at the metal (aluminum?), so this is the third bench I’ve purchased.

Measure carefully – First, there are many transfer benches offered on Amazon. So many the decision of purchasing becomes almost overwhelming. The most important measurement one needs to make is the height difference between the floor of the bathroom and the bottom of the tub. In my installation of this chair the bathtub legs were at the lowest setting while the floor legs were set to the highest setting. The chair seat was level. I would have liked the chair to be closer to the outside wall of the tub. The floor legs could be adjusted to make the chair closer to the tub outside wall lip BUT the legs resting on the tub floor were already at the lowest setting and could not be adjusted any lower. So, I had to be satisfied with the chair height at the leg settings being high on the floor end and low on the tub end.

Medical Tub transfer bench – This bench has helped my mother get in and out of the tub very easily. The caretakers have no problem showering her with this bench. It’s been a Godsend for her!

Meant for a Larger Tub – I like this shower chair! I’m disabled and need a chair when I shower. The last one we had began to rust and show its age in other ways too. It was time to replace it. It can be hard to order some things online. It would be easier to see them in use in a similar setting as to where you will use them.
