      Comfortable, bright, easy to use – Had this a couple of weeks and have been using daily predawn and after sunset.

      Almost Too Bright! – Perfect head lamp. I have used this thing for camping and climbing and it has never let me down. The multiple brightness settings are perfect. The primary lamp is almost too bright unless you’re scanning the desert at night. The red light option is kind of cool if you’re trying not to wake everyone else up. I put new batteries on every trip but it has technically never ran out of juice on me, which is more than I can say for my previous Petzl headlamp.

Now, Who would have thought that this is EXACTLY what us-critters (with barely two hands) needs to see stuff in dimly lit nooks and crannies and in the dark! …Working on computers, rewiring guitars, running cables under studio desks, searching for stuff in the back of the closet or the attic, for crawling under the house. YOU CAN USE Both Hands! These things are Great! ..adjustable brightness – just hold the “on” button to get that done. Red and Green light for night vision – perfect for astronomy and night hikes – map and compass reading are so much easier accomplish with both hands free!
