OEM water filter – I needed to replace my water filter in my Whirlpool refrigerator and the prices were starting to climb higher and higher at my local Lowes and Home Depot stores but then i came across this on Amazon. This is the same product that is sold in stores and often at the same price but every now and then you can catch it on sale and that is the time to buy and keep for when time is needed. The brand of filter works very well in the fridge as it’s what is recommended by the manufacturer and to me the taste of the filtered water is good. I used to use a Brita filter before purchasing this fridge and figured I would continue to use the Brita even though the fridge now had the water dispenser but once I tried the water from the fridge there was no point in using the Brita anymore.
