These are skinnier than I expected. – I’m pretty happy overall with these. They’re slightly dimmer than I hoped and smaller around than I expected. I could handle the dimness, but for sure wish they were a little fatter around. It’s not a big deal but the remote doesn’t have a wide range so it only turns on a couple of the candles at time. You have to keep clicking the “on” button until they’ve all lit up.

Look great but the quality is so-so – Really love the look of the candles. One of them doesn’t work – the batteries don’t make adequate contact – but I didn’t bother trying to return them as there were plenty of candles for my purposes. The remote is very cheap and you need to be fairly close to the candles for it to work well. I haven’t tried the timer function yet. Overall, for the price, I’m very pleased.

Definitely Worth the Purchase – I’m thrilled with this purchase. The candles add such a pretty tough to my mantle/living room. I do have to click the power button about three times to get all of the candles to light, but it doesn’t bother me. If you buy them, be sure you have plenty of AA batteries because my set of nine candles required 18 batteries. So far, the candles have been on for a total of at least 20 hours and they’re still just as bright, so I imagine that the batteries will last a long time. Thankfully, we had a huge package of Amazon brand AA’s and I haven’t had to buy any yet. I recommend these candles!

I’ve always been a fan of real candles, but there are limits to where you can have a real flame and the risk of fire is always a concern. These are real wax, so they look authentic, and there’s zero worry about something catching on fire. The remote is so convenient, too. I can have candles in sconces higher up on a wall and “light” them with the push of a button – fantastic!

They flicker like actual flames, and cast dancing shadows on the walls around them. In my book, you cannot do better.

I found it odd that you have to turn the candles on manually in order to use the remote. The remote is also impossible to open when the battery needs changed and, again, the directions are not clear on how to open the battery compartment. Though I like the candles, I would not recommend this product based on the remote and I would definitely not purchase again

Love these – I saw comments about the remote not working but I didn’t have issues, aside from when I have them near my tv my tv remote triggers them too. You do need to make sure you have all the candles on from the bottom before you can use the remote. Love the light and feel of the them. Great for the price.

Instant Romance – Nothing says “I want romance” faster than lighting candles. Living in the South, having a bunch of burning candles all over the house isn’t really recommended, we don’t need to heat the place. But these battery operated lights are perfect.
