Need proper beater height! – It works wonderfully but you need to make sure your beater height is good! I adjusted my beater height using the dime test. There’s a kitchen aid video that shows you how to do this. I adjusted the height using my REGULATOR beater that does not have the flex edge. After doing this adjustment. The flex edge on this beater is perfect and scrapes just enough. This is important. If you switch between different size bowls or between a 4.5 and 5 quart then the beater height should be adjusted each time. This is a pain so I just stick to the ceramic 5 quart and keep my 4.5 bowl as a back up spare. No beater issues when doing it this way. I highly recommend this beater.

Replacement paddle – Replacement for original one from Kitcheaid that has baked enamel chipping off. Provided a a good price wife has used it several times and is happy with mixer/scraper/paddle replacement.
