      Just what we needed – Lowes no longer carried these in store and happy to find just what we needed on Amazon.

      If the filter fits it must be it! – I tried all the less expensive filters. 1 out of 4 work and threw away the other 3. Three of the four dangerously shoot out when you prime the filter. I could not get them to stay in. When I did get them to snap in they would not come out. I thought it was the mechanism in the fridge. I bought a replacement refrigerator part on-line and replaced it. They still would shoot out. I finally decided to go with the Frigidaire manufacturer filter. Pop right in and stay in. Pop right out when you push the release button. Save your time, money and head. Avoid the headache and get the original.

This is the exact same filter that I have been purchasing at Lowe’s for a higher price. The box and labeling are exactly the same as at Lowes. It does have the NSF label on the filter as well as on the back of the box. It was super easy to install just push in,with a little force, just as with the ones I was purchasing from Lowes.
