Great programmable outlet, but can’t use sunset/sunrise times in routines. – Exactly what I was looking for – both outlets can be controlled and scheduled independently. 4 stars as I would love to program routines based on sunset times, which the Cync app offers. I have set my zip code, but whenever I try to save a routine that involves sunset or sunrise times, the app fails to save the routine. It works well with fixed times though. I hope the developers can iron out this bug – then it would be a five star product.

5GHZ Compatible – We changed our internet service and our original outdoor smart plug wasn’t compatible. This one is. Extremely easy to install and works flawlessly.

Okay, but hard with Alexa – Setting up the plugs in the cync app is easy and they work great. The problems lies with setting it up with alexa. I was only able to get 1 side on 2 plugs working. It is almost like alexa gets confused with it. I even had the plug replaced and it did the same thing with all three plugs.

Two for one – Love that each socket can be programmed independently of each other. I have some year round lights that I plug into the right outlet. And holiday lights that I plug into the left. I like to leave the year round lights on longer than the holiday lights. With this I no longer have to use two separate timers

Once installed, works great. – I have two of these. Pretty much everything in my home is on a smart device. I have an Echo Dot and/or Echo Show in every room, even on my screened in porch. I have multiple smart plugs and smart bulbs, a Ring doorbell and a smart lock. All this is to point out that I am VERY familiar with setting up smart devices. This is one of the worst to set up! Both of them took MULTIPLE attempts before I was able to get them to complete the setup process. With the second one, I finally gave up and sent an email to their support. Unfortunately, they are closed on the weekends, so I got an email back that said they opened on Monday at 9am and would get back to me. They didn’t reply back to me until late Tuesday afternoon and told me that I needed to try to use a different name to set the plug up, not the one I used for my first one! Duh! I politely let them know that I’m not an idiot and that I had used a different name all 6 or 7 times I attempted to get the stupid thing to connect! I eventually tried again and fortunately it finally connected! What both of mine did (in case you buy this and have the same issue) – it would go through the whole set up, naming the room the plug would be in, naming each outlet, connecting to the WiFi, etc and the last step would say “Cannot add device” (see photo). When it finally was able to set up it was after I had had to turn my phone off and back on (for a completely unrelated issue), so maybe try that too.
