Colors are dim – Have these set up all throughout my place and I do like the colors and the app that you can set them up on but I will say the colors are not bright, if you switch it to the white settings it will actually light up but sort of defeats the purpose

Essential kaleidoscope for the hearth – Smart bulbs are good for three things: Security, entertainment and comfort. Security because one can remotely turn on lights which can deter agents of the night. Entertainment because one can select a color to frame the mood including party flashing lights or subtle romantic ambiances. Comfort because the color and intensity of light can enhance the environment.

Troubleshooting tips bc I know you’re having issues – These bulbs are great when they work but when they don’t, it’s frustrating but they don’t have to be. If you are having issues with a particular bulb follow the manufacturer’s recommended steps to reset the bulb and give it another try. Don’t use google home or Alexa to manage them, these bulbs are not reliable with them. Just use their app (Cync), it works fine and offers more features anyways.

Great for color changing/dimming, but software issues hamper these greatly – My girlfriend and I love these! They are great for night time when you want to dim the lights but don’t have a dimming light switch. they are easy to use voice commands with too.

Range is also very poor, I have a bulb 30 feet from my router and it barely works over Wifi. The GE app works with the bulb but Alexa can’t communicate with it.
