No plug- USB – No plug it came with a usb plug. I had read that has a plug to put in the wall. Which is Why I bought it. This is not true. Who wants a clamp on light with a USB plug to attach to a bed? considering returning.

As good as advertised – I am using this lamp to read in bed with a low brightness on the warm/amber scale. It’s perfect for my needs! The clamp is sturdy and stable, but I was able to use it with my aging hand strength. The gooseneck is not long. I like the switch very much. It’s easy to find in the dark with its tiny blue dot of light and it remains on its last use setting. I have not found it to get hot on top, which was a concern for me in an attic bedroom. It was carefully packaged and arrived one day early. I also own their neck lamp, which I use for knitting. This seems to be a good company. I have not had any issues that have required customer service, but I did receive a nice email from them regarding my purchase.

I can honestly say that I’ve bought a lot of lights similar to this (reading lights, desk lights, work lights, etc), and this is by far the best one. It comes with multiple settings, all of which are situationally useful. I bought this for my mother, who crochets and reads a lot in dim light, and I couldn’t stand watching her struggle any longer. She absolutely loves it. I also bought an extension cord and ran it beneath the couch and clipped this light to her TV table.
