product does not spread easily – product was used to fill damaged molding; does not spread easily

Great filler with great strength, wish it was closer to natural color. – Easy to use, love that it comes in a tube. Very strong filler that driers relatively quickly (can be sanded after a few hours minimum). Great for edges too. I do wish the color was closer to natural wood color. I left the wood as is so I can’t speak to how well it stains.

Great Product – Used two tubes to fill in large rotted area in 6X6 fence post (to slow/prevent further damage). Perfect density – not too mushy, not too thick. Dried quickly. No shrinkage. Has been exposed to elements for 2 months with no problems.

Does what it’s supposed to, but hard to get tube opening open. – Maybe a professional has the tools to open or snip the tube open. I did not. I tried to snip with the best, strongest scissors I have. I am a small framed female and not that strong. I needed a job done immediately, so I finally had no choice but to cut open the bottom of the tube, use what I needed and just discard the other as it would have dried up. I paid about $20 (1 day shipping – which was wonderful) just to use such a small amount. Now, I have another job, but no more product. The product itself was very good. It did spread easily, filled in the screw holes and looked fine. The color just happened to almost blend perfectly with my wall paint…which is the main reason I got it. I am very grateful for that, as the paint color would have been hard to replace at the time. It’s a perfect product for those whose have the tools or muscles to snip that little tube open…yes, I sometimes have the same problem with tube caulk, but not quite as difficult.

Dfficult to extract – I was unable to get the tube contents to come out through the nozzle designed for that purpose. After several futile attempts, I finally cut the tube so that I could access the filler. The filler itself worked well, and serves its intended purpose.

Tube is best for very small jobs – The filler is very thick and not very sticky. The tube is a heavy duty plastic with a small nozzle in a stiff disk. All of these conditions makes it very difficult to lay down a line of filler as you might do with a tube of caulking. I eventually just cut the entire nozzle off, leaving a large diameter hole in the stiff disk.
