It’s a big, pretty piece of salt… – I don’t know if it is real or not, but it looks nice. My kid licked it, kids will be kids, and said that it tasted like salt so who knows. It has been plugged in and on since I got it about a month or more ago and I have not had any issues with overheating or melting.
