Very Secure – The Lock is amazingly secure for it to be compact. And I’m grateful I got it. Easy to use and comes with a small pouch so I can take it anywhere I go. It only got 4 stars because the doorstop doesn’t come with its own battery and it doesn’t use regular AA , A, or AAA batteries so you will have to go to a store and by a special battery yourself. Which was inconvenient because it means another thing to add to the list.

It works on some doors. – When it first got here, I tried it on all of my house doors and it worked perfectly! When I went on my trip to Mexico, the Hotel in Rosarito, I tried putting it in the door lock and it did not fit. So I could not use it. The only thing work was the door alarm.

Saved a life… – Took this on first trip in 4 years. Turned out that it came in handi…out of state got stuck one night in a Super 8 2 blocks from a prison. Not great but could not find another room…turned out that weekend there was an escapee from that prison and first place he hit was our hotel. He was trying doors…He was caught in the back, inside the building…so yup…will always take it with. Can’t make this stuff up!

AMAZING for hotel safety for special needs!! – This lock and alarm system was PERFECT for myself and my family on or Disney trip!! I have a special needs son who loves to try to run away AND our room was right by a pool (he loves water and can’t swim). This lock kept him from being able to figure out how to open the door. And I slept peacefully knowing that even if he did outsmart the lock that the alarm would go off and wake me up in time to grab him before he could run off. I will for SURE be traveling with this every time we go on vacation. Took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to install the lock the first time, but after that it only took me about 30 seconds to put it on or take it off!
