      Nice Upgrade From a “Dumb” Honey to a “Smart” Honey … But Some Cons With a Couple of Tips – I had a standard, basic “Dumb” Honeywell for many years and worked perfectly, although I had to manually change settings from the basic 5/2 day schedule to override them. Having Alexa, I wanted to have the ease to change it via voice as well as when I am not home, so I bought the “Smart” Honeywell.

      – This smart thermostat is so helpful. Makes your house more efficient when you program it to your setting. It’s easy to install if you have the right wires installed originally. Love the touch screen. I installed this in my home and my rental to program the heat settings.

Because it is an older model, I had to install 2 different apps. We wanted to use Resideo, but before you can use that you have to use the older app to create an account.

      – It said add a C wire on the instructions, so I bought a C wire but turns out they wanted a specific Honeywell C wire. The customer service people were unhelpful even though we video chatted with them as to what specially the problem was. So

      Just right for my furnace – I set this up on 12-10-2022. This works great on my single stage furnace. Easy setup. I bought this along with the adapter to hook up on my old 4 wires thermostat connections. I was worried at first if it will work. But I give it a try since it said I be able to use it on my old furnace. So far it work right away and I setup to connect to my wifi and using the app on my phone to control my thermostat. Like it very much. Useful and setup schedule is easy on the app. The touch screen thermostat seem to have little bit of hard time to respond when I touch the screen. So I rather use app. Much easier. The adapter work just as it said it was. My furnace work well with this thermostat and adapter that I add in. Recommended if you have 1 stage furnace unit. I don’t know about any other type of furnace if it works well. But this thermostat and adapter works great for this one.
