Best ones I have tried so far after 15 years of trying to sleep through the night – These are by far the most comfortable of the ear plugs I have tried. They also do a very good job of shutting out most of the noises that wake me otherwise. In cases of very loud snoring by a sleeping partner, snoring wins. For light to moderate snoring, these do the job. Also for light traffic and annoying noises in hotel rooms from the heat, a/c etc. One warning – these can be rolled so thin that you can end up putting them too far down into your ear and waking up with some discomfort – in my case it always subsides quickly, however I do try to make sure before falling asleep that I pull them out a tiny bit if I can feel them deep inside my ear.

Once you figure out the trick to getting them in your ears (roll them tightly in your fingers, use 1 hand to pull back on your ear, then insert in firmly and let htem expand), they go in quickly and effectively.

At last, my perfect earplugs – I had been using Honeywell’s thicker orange Howard Leight earplugs, and they worked well when I could put them in correctly, as they are firmer and bulkier than these. These earplugs are very lightweight and comfortable, but do a great job blocking noise (in my opinion even better than the others, probably because they fit me better so it’s easier to put them in correctly). I’m a light sleeper so rely on earplugs especially when traveling. So very happy I found these!

Read up on several earplugs and ended up going with this brand. And they are excellent! They block enough noise to mute the footsteps but not so much that I won’t wake up to my smoke detector going off. And they’re comfortable enough to wear for 8+ hours.
