Works well with Google nest – I purchased this so I wouldn’t have to keep bending over under the Christmas tree to turn it on/off everyday. I plugged it into the wall along with the tree and followed the step up steps on the card inside of the box. I had to download an app which allows me to control this plus which is even easier. The only issue is that the card states to enter “smart plug” but the set up didn’t work for this as it’s actually a smaller model than what is pictured in the steps so I went back to the beginning and clicked “smart plug lite” which worked. This plug only has a power on/off button no wifi button so it won’t work for the regular smart plus set up. Once I set it up I asked Google to turn off my tree and it worked! I went to bed, forgot to turn off the tree and easily could grab my phone to shut it off without having to run back downstairs to unplug it. So worth the price and ease of use. I haven’t used the second plug that this came with but I’m definitely going to keep it for any other items that are not easy to reach. Would definitely recommend for Christmas trees!

Awesome! – I bought a floor lamp and the on/off switch is on a part of the cord that hides behind the couch and isn’t easy to reach. Through the magic of this technology, no problem! I can switch it on/off without wrangling the cord. I also have a tendency to sit at my desk too late and the house darkens around me – it’s nice being able to turn on the lamp while I’m sitting at my desk. Also nice for not having to come home to a creepy house and being worried a cat will slip past me in the dark. Very useful product! Set up was easy too on my iPhone.
