Worth the money – I have tried a bunch of options lately to catch thin short hair and long thick hair from going down the drain. This product worked better than all the rest the silicone is thin enough so it actually catches hair instead of stopping it in the outside circle like thicker silicones. It also allows enough water to pass through so there isn’t a back up of water. And the weight keeps the silicone down so hair doesn’t get underneath it like all the rest. It is easily lifted off the drain so no stickers needed and cleaning can happen each time the shower is used. I use it in an older tub with the pull up portion of the stopper still attached to the tub. The only negative is I can see that the silicone might get warped if you don’t gingerly clean it and I would clear it frequently to keep the effectiveness at peak. Bottom line I’ve spent twice as much on all the other models I’ve tried so just get this one it’s worth the price.

Better than OXO – I used to own the OXO tub drain protector. I always felt it didn’t have enough holes and didn’t stay put. When I moved to a house with a flat shower drain, I tossed it. However, I started taking baths in our tub, so I needed a new one. I decided to give this one a try because it looked heavier and that it had more holes. I’m much happier with this drain protector. It’s weighty and the water continues to drain at a good rate, even as it picks up hair. I’d recommend this drain protector over OXO’s any day!
