Your kid will love them – The remote is definitely crappy. It’s just a flimsy place of plastic so make sure you put it somewhere where you won’t lose it because it could easily get damaged however, for 20 bucks these lights work great and do all kinds of cool stuff. We’ve had them for about a month now and they work well. My kid loves them, so money well spent.

TV Backlight adds modern look. – I wanted to be able to add lights to my fireplace mantle. Instead, I decided to add backlighting to the TV. My TV has an uneven surface on the rear cabinet but the strip sticks fine. Make sure it has 3M adhesive. Just enough brightness and adjustable. At the corners you make a 90 degree pinch in the strip. I have them plugged into a master controller so when I shut off the TV they turn off.
