LEDs are on 6 cm (2.5″) centers. Too far apart even for a large frame. – I made a framed mirror about 6 feet around that I wanted to have the side edges lit by LED strip lights. These had good reviews, so I got a set. When they arrived I was a bit taken aback by the spacing of the 5050 LEDs. They seemed really far apart. This may be OK if you’re putting them around the top edge of a wall in a room, but for my purpose – just did not work. For the price, and the right setting – probably reasonable – but it simply did not work for me. I wound up returning these and purchased a set having many more LEDs set on 4cm centers. I would have preferred 2 – 3 cm centers, but no clue how to find these. The strip lights I settled on have 600 LEDs, but cost 50% more than this set. Worth it for my intended purpose. I will post an additional photo with the updated LED lights once completed.

Be careful with painted wall – These are good lights to buy, but be careful when applying the strip to paint. It said it’s fine on paint, but in my apartment building I checked and it did take off some paint, so I’d recommend taking it off slowly and carefully when the time comes. The brightness is good, it won’t light up a room but it will give a nice ambiance. Doesn’t replace a lamp though.
