I hate these knee pads! But wait a minute…. – These are the most unstable knee pads that I’ve ever tried. The flat face seems to cause the pads to twist constantly. They were not good on a flat surface and horrible on an uneven surface like gravel. I would rather had the older version without the flat face. It seems to me that it would be much better. I’ll be buying different pads as soon as I get the chance.

The gift that is always welcome – I have purchased these kneepads as a birthday gift for my son-in-law who wears out a pair a year. He uses them almost daily for maintenance duties around a small farm or multiple rental properties. After hearing his praises I bought a pair for myself. I don’t use my pair as often as he does but I will agree they are good for working in the garden or for crawling the attic when my wife decides some particular holiday decorations are needed. I wish I had these before. It would have prevented a lot of knee pain from crawling around on stuff – I’m doing a DIY project in my attic. It requires a lot of crawling around on the trusses while avoiding much pressure to the ceiling material between the trusses. As the result, I’m spending a lot of time with my knees on top of 2-by material that’s hard. Some of those 2-bys have other things that are hard to see in a low visibility environment. To make a long story short, my knees are getting abused in many ways.

Of course, elastic belts need to be appropriately adjusted. They are very soft, and knees do not hurt even if one stays kneeled for a few hours.
