Way faster than PUR Pitcher. Definitely worth it if you want your water quick! – I had initially bought the PUR PItcher as it was one of the few that filtered lead, but it was so freaking slow. It took like 30-60 minutes to filter the whole thing and I get thirsty. This faucet mount is way faster as it gives you filtered water immediately. The flow may not be the fastest, but it’s still way faster than using the pitcher.

Ours is being used with well water which has a lot of dissolved minerals,manganese, iron and such so I expect the filter will only have less than half it’s life. Our water is safe to drink as is but, I prefer the taste when it is filtered. There are still a large amount of minerals evident when allowing filtered water to evaporate, however the water tastes better and definitely smells better.

Pretty good in-sink filter, but a little bulky size – My house has lead pipes and a very high level of chlorine from the water treatment plant in the water. The lead is fine (so far) but the chlorine makes it taste like I’m drinking from a swimming pool. I got this to alleviate the chlorine issue and to avoid any future problems that may arise from an old house with lead pipes, and it did it perfectly. Great filter, refill filter cartridges can be found in almost any department/grocery store, decent price, and the water actually tastes good and correct right out of the filter.
