Seems great so far! – I didn’t rate them 5 stars because I am considering “the jury’s still out” about them…We’re temporarily living part time in an apartment building; these “grab bars” have only been used a few times since I bought them and I want to see how they do now that I’ve moved them. They’re for my elderly parent’s shower, and in our first (furnished) apartment, these were the only grab bars inside the (much bigger) shower. I got these “stick on” ones after the management said they could only mount a bar outside the shower for reasons of liability. When I first tried putting the first (I bought two) up, I gasped when it fell- I hadn’t known to clamp the lever down. It seemed very secure after it was stuck on tightly though, and, despite my nervousness about their safety, they stuck tightly, were a success for the few times they were used. Now we are in a different apartment, with a smaller (stall) shower that has a bar bolted to the back wall. I clamped these on either side to give my parent some more stability while showering and we shall see how well they continue doing.

We are currently renting, so we needed something temporary that would not damage the shower. They were very easy to install, you just have to make sure the wall is clean and push down on the black clips to activate the suction, and they have remained suctioned to our shower tiles despite the tiles having some texture. When we tested putting our full weight on the handle (>130 lbs), it did slide a bit but it still remained on the wall. I am confident that if he were to fall it would provide sufficient support to catch him. Overall, the handles have remained stable with daily use over several weeks and have given him independence back after his injury.
