I did what I needed to do without an issue. If heat it up, it did its job it cool down. The accessories that came with. It were perfect. For the price if you need an inexpensive soldering iron kit. This is it.

Easy to use and good value – I had never used a soldering tool before, and I purchased this product to see if I could repair a wire connection to a circuit board that had failed. The solder included is general solder, so I had to buy a large roll of electrical solder that I won’t be likely to use any time soon – and it cost as much as this tool. It would have been nice for the tool to include a small loop of regular solder and a small loop of electrical solder. Also, the instructions are only about how to adjust the tool, not how to use the tool. I found a pretty good online tutorial that included tips on wiping down the end of the tool, mildly abrading the tool to remove excess solder, etc. This product would have benefitted from a few more detailed instructions. But, I was very pleased with the outcome after some trial and error, and I successfully repaired my circuit board wire.
