Opening champ! – Lost my previous remote so I ordered these hoping they would work the same or better. WOW was I surprised! The distance this little guy has is impressive! Especially on ugly windy days!

    2. A. M (verified owner)

Easy to pair. Very affordable. – In 2008 the garage door installer company charged us $75 for an extra, third remote (unit comes with two) when we initially bought the new garage door and opener. That was outrageous! So when two of the three remotes finally wore out the fact that we could buy 2 for $20 was a definite bargain! I bought 2 sets; one for each car, one to open the door from inside the house (our garage is detached) and a spare for when the kids come to visit. To pair: Close the garage door. Trigger the garage opener’s interior light to on so you can see what you’re doing. On a ladder, open the cover on the opener and press the colored pairing button (ours is purple) a little yellow indicator light will go on next to it to indicate ready for pairing; press the wider button on the hand held remote before the yellow indicator light goes out; the garage light will blink twice and the yellow indicator will blink off. You’re paired. Test the door. If the door doesn’t open, retry the pairing. You have to push the remote button to pair before the yellow indicator light blinks off. Repeat to pair remaining remotes.

    3. Z. B (verified owner)

Very easy set up two old remote that was lost – I needed to replace my old remote which had been taken out of my car. I searched Amazon‘s website to find one that was small that included two remotes and most important was easy to set up for a good price. This was not the cheapest and not the most expensive but it did the job. I wanted to be able to take one of them and put it in the car and the other one I wanted to be able to put a string on it and wear it around my neck. I am a quadriplegic and I like to go for walks but in the past I’ve had to go through a lot of different steps to lock my garage door and then go through my front door and leave that open while I took a walk. The only thing I wish they would do to it is put a little hole or some kind of mounting piece on it so that I can put a string around my neck.

Worked for my yellow button lift master 8155 – There’s a video how-to review on here where a lady shows you how to program a yellow button remote – that was essential for programming it! Way more helpful than the written instructions

    5. K. R (verified owner)

Works as expected – Easy to program (the openers to work with the remote- you don’t program the remote itself)

    6. D. C (verified owner)

Great replacement for OEM openers – My OEM remotes have been working terribly for a while. I guess they’re basically a consumable. Even with battery changes, both remotes haven’t worked well for a while. These replacements were easy to program. I’m sure they’ll wear out eventually, which is fine. I’m happy with the replacements.

    7. C. Z (verified owner)

Super easy!! – The 15 year old panel on my garage door is giving me trouble in the cold weather even though the panel lights up when I put in the code and I have changed the battery. I have only one opener that I have to push multiple times for it to work so I figured I could use a new one.

Very easy to program – I have 3 Chamberlain units with the purple learn buttoms. The Chamberlain units were purhased around 2007. Pairing with each unit requires 2 clicks. It takes more time to get a ladder. Works perfectly, good value, and would buy again.
