Not so bright, colors not accurate but sticks well and easy to install, sort of.. – First off, these weren’t expensive but then again neither are a lot of the competitors so I guess these were just priced in par with the other led light strips sets. I would like to start as the adhesive is very strong so you must be certain of where you want to stick these. The lights aren’t that bright but I bought them for an accent on my kid’s bunk beds so they will mostly be on at night. so its ok. The green color is really nice as is the blue but the red is terrible. I know it could be better as I have seen a deep red in the beginning of my installation but now that I am done, the red looks orange and yellow. I checked all my connections and they are tight so I don’t know why red is at fault now. If you don’t have a lot of connectors in your run I suppose it would be better controlled and you could easily verify if you don’t have a tight connection somewhere. I had so many twist and turns and used quite a few right angles and “T” connectors. But please be sure I verified each connection before fastening it completely. I suggest if you do use connectors to not remove the adhesive behind the ends being connected. Contrary to the instructions. With the adhesive backing still on, its a lot easier to slide the end under the terminals of the connector. If you remove the backing you’ll have a hard time trying to slide the end under the terminals as the strip is thinner without the backing and its so sticky that it doesn’t slide easily under the terminals. So leave the backing on, push it under the terminals and then use scissors to cut the backing for the rest of the strip after the connectors are secure and in place. I didn’t realize this until halfway through the project and wish I knew it ahead of time – would have saved me a lot of frustrations. There is a slight hum when the lights are on. Not sure how much a deal it will be with my kids sleeping right there next to it but there is a hum. Probably not an issue if I used these elsewhere like behind a screen or tv but not by a bed…near my head. I wish you were able to cut these strips in smaller sections as I had some difficulty finding the best spot to cut to go around a corner. I wish I had more choices as to where to cut the strip as the dotted cutting lines are spread a little too thinly.

Things You Might Be Wondering About… – I just bought these and I will let you guys know somethings that are not really explained well on the product details, descriptions and reviews. They do not come with any extra connectors, if you accidently mess the strip up ( my wife accidently clipped the blue circuit while sticking the lights to a sharp corner with her finger nail…) you will need to repair that strip with some of the 10mm connectors you can find for 3-6$ on here, we ordered a pack right after lol. The product I have is the 100ft kit (2 rolls of 50) and if you are wondering, I would not advise running both strips off of only 1 plug on the controller box. The lights her dimmer the farther they go with just 1 50ft strip, so I’d say it wont last the other 50 ft. With that being said you will need to use both plugs, one for each strip, then run both strips from the controller going opposite ways. Be sure to measure everything with a tape measurer and don’t forget the extra length needed to go up the wall from the power outlet. They stick really well, but not so good when trying to get it back onto the backing paper if you peel it off too far. The remote that comes with it has a delay, is annoying and sometimes does it own thing…at least for me. When I downloaded the Tuya Smart App I was prepared to do all the ‘plugging and unplugging the light strip at the socket 3 or 4 times’ to get it to sync, but if you just hold the On (power) button located on the remote it came with for 5-10 seconds the lights will go red then start flashing, at that point the light strip showed up on the Tuya Smart App and I was rocking and rolling. I preformed a corner folding technique to get my lights around the corners without using L connecters, look it up on google ‘Folding LED light Strips’ make sure you do it at the ‘cut here’ places, they are the 4 horizontal copper lines. It worked out well, could have been better, but apparently I’m only one that will ever notice it…but that’s all that counts right hah. I haven’t connected it to Alexa yet because I’m hesitant about logging into Amazon through it (call me paranoid). I will update pictures in a bit, because I have a 6 year old and if I don’t at least write this right now I will never be able to answer these questions for other buyers =P

Junk – Started ok, but adding to your assistant for voice control was a challenge and a half. Now some of the bulbs are randomly purple and the two strands are way off in color. The colors all look strange. Several are all the same. Between soft white and bright white. Not too impressed.
