Stylish and practical – LED beanies are pretty popular right now. When I first saw one, I thought “What a dumb idea”. Hats are to keep your head warm right? So why would you need a hat with a light on it? Then I saw some actually wearing and using one. I thought about it for a while, and it is actually a great idea. We wear beanies when it is cold out, and when it is cold out, it gets dark sooner and is dark for more hours of the day. So odds are, we will be outside in the dark more often and in need of a light. If your light is contained in your hat, it makes it portable and handy.

Nice, rechargeable alternative to a head lamp – I don’t think I would choose this beanie hat as my first choice to wear as a hat. It’s on the large side, and there are more attractive beanies out there. However, if you use a headlamp while walking in the early morning or at night, this is a nice, rechargeable alternative to the head lamp. It is bright enough to pick up Fido’s doo-doo, and to be seen by cars. I’d say it would also work for riding a bike, but you should have a helmet on instead.

beanie hat comfortable, useful, and stylish. – The beanie hat is comfortable and stylish. Many hats do not fit my head properly. The light is bright enough for a hiking or walking. Perfect for dog walks. It is not as bright or adjustable like a headlamp but definitely will get used!

Very bright! – I’m really excited about this hat. My husband has one that he bought at a major sporting chain (and paid a lot of money for), and we thought it would be fun if I had one too so we could go for walks at night without carrying flashlights. The outside is a woven poly marled knit and it’s lined inside with a plush material – very soft and warm. Nice sized, it should fit “most” comfortably. Warm, comfortable, and bright! – This stocking cap has an attached “LED light disk”. I have worn it on several hour-long after-dark walks with temperatures around 30°F. Here are my thoughts:

Lighted beanie that is warm and comfy – Nice lighted beanie with a soft interior. Very comfortable due to the soft inner lining, which makes this a step above the usual beanies. I have horses that are fed before sunrise, and it’s already well below freezing here in N. Arizona, and this beanie keeps my head very warm. It’s so comfortable, I don’t feel the need to strip it off once I’m back inside. Light has high and low white light settings, and also a flashing red, blue, violet light but no green. Which when i think of it, is probably a wise decision. For those who wear this in public, you wouldn’t want some half asleep driver heading towards a green light, right ? Battery life is good, and charging is easy, Just plugs into any standard size usb port. Nice cap !
