Works Great – I have used a name brand dampness absorber for years. I tried these little hanging absorbers just to see how they did. They worked just as good as the name brand and was much, much cheaper. These little bags lasted over a month and took all of the musty odor out of my closets. I put new bags in today and am going to see what I can find to replace the canister absorbers I keep under my sinks. Our house is very damp and has a musty smell, as we live in a very humid area. The former owner smoked and the absorbers take care of that odor, too.

Very pleased – I have a small utility closet for my washer dryer. I frequent hang laundry from the washer in that area to dry and noticed a damp smell even though I keep the door open. AbsorbsQuickly & HookHoldsWaterWeight – I selected the unscented kind, and indeed they have no fragrance and no odor. The chemical in the pouch absorbs moisture quickly as evidenced by water accumulating in lower chamber of bag. I noticed that one side of the chemical pouch is porous and the other side is not. Therefore when I had to hang a bag so that it was touching a wall or furniture, I made sure to have the porous side facing outward so the moisture could be pulled into from the room. I was a bit skeptical about the strength of the plastic hooks at top of bag, but I can now confirm that they are strong enough to hold the bag when it has absorbed to its max potential. I was pleased enough with the product to place a second order.
