Excellent replacement for my 30-year old Tinker – I’ve had a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife in my pocket, continuously, for about 50 years. Always a Tinker with its great combination of tools and small size.

Classic, timeless Swiss Army knife. Perfect – Victorinox has been around for years and its good to know that the quality and craftsmanship of their Swiss Army knives has stood the test of time.

Compare/Contrast a lot of Victorinox toolsets – I have an array of Swiss Army tools, from large to small. I did have more, but relinquished them due to non-use and limited utility (the Forester and RangerGrip are absent from this list). Not that they’re bad tools, it’s that they’re very large and don’t have a good tool selection. They’re more KNIFE! with tools rather than LOTS! of tools. I never came across anything that the Forester/RangerGrip could do that the others couldn’t, but many instances where vice-versa. Other people may disagree, depending on their job, and requirements of a knife/multitool. YMMV. Also I didn’t include the smaller Swiss Army’s like the Classic, Rambler, Manager because I consider those keychain tools, and I don’t have a keychain anymore, due to key-in-pocket remotes and PIN pads for the house. Without the tiny-size requirement, I am free to select from slightly lager toolsets.

Comparison of My Favorite Swiss Army Knives – I have bought and used several versions of the Swiss Army knives. There are plenty of reviews that cover the pros and cons of specific versions of the Swiss Army knives (SAK), so I thought what I would do in my review is cover some of the things I like (or don’t like) about the different versions in case anyone is like me and trying decide WHICH SAK they want to by. I did a lot of research before I bought any of the versions and then, of course, personally tried out different versions. So, I thought I would share my experience and what I like and don’t like.

These knives are exceptional! – This may seem trivial, but…
S. A (verified owner) –
Good knife – You can’t beat this for an everyday pocket knife.
C. F (verified owner) –
A must have – Amazing. Built like a tank. Droped hundreds of times on concrete and tile with only minor chips
