Work great for the price – I’m an occupational therapist and I recommend these to my patients all the time. Husband is 6’2″ with a moderate build and recently had back surgery. Getting up and down was super painful so it has been very nice to have him able to use his arms to help lift and lower more easily and with less pain. The instructions aren’t super clear about how the odd square washers come off and the first bolt I happened to pick up was VERY difficult to separate them, so I wasn’t really sure how they went together, but the others were much easier and went way faster. It’s very stable, comfortable to use and the arms are wide enough that they don’t obstruct much for wiping. If you already have a tall enough toilet and don’t need a seat riser these are the way to go.

Works as intended – Unit comes in six pieces. Quality construction with white enamel frame and rubber covered arms. clear instruction manual provided. Found it easy to assemble with no tools required. Fit well on my two-piece Toto elongated toilet. This will not work for people who are obese as the spacing between the arms is only 17″. I bought it for my wife who has leg strength issues. She finds that it works well for her. I would recommend this toilet rail system.

Good buy – Works well for my 95 year old mother. Easy to clean. I am larger than my mom and we share the toilet so I like how the two parts do not connect onto the toilet seat and can be easily pushed out allowing more room for me, and back in for her. I would definitely recommend for the elderly and for anyone with back problems who may have problems getting up & down.

Very good for the price, but there are better – Its fine for a smaller, lighter person, and it does the job in my case, however, if the person is large and not so strong, they may want to pass because the front of the rails dont attach to, but just rest on the rim of the bowl, and there is about an inch of play, even after I cranked down on the tightening bolts. The bolts are steel but have a plastic know, which seems a bit flimsy, and gives too much. In retrospect, I should have spent the extra money and got the stronger unit, because that play in the handlebars could potentially cause a wrist sprain or a loss of balance. So it’ll work for some but not for all people. Also in the past there was an adhesive plate underneath the mounting plate, which kept it from sliding, but isn’t included now. So it requires a good amount of silicone to keep it from sliding and water from pooling underneath it,rusting it. So in general, it works, but you have to spend some time with silicone, and letting it dry for 24hrs. Before exposure to water.

Disappointed… (no, I was wrong) – Bought two of these products, one for each Bath Room; basically does the job if you are careful; BUT each one of the arm rests move back and forth a couple of inches – “no way” to tighten them!
