Very useful! – This device has come in very handy when trying to figure out if a used battery still has some life in it or not. I’ve used it with AA, AAA and C batteries and it works great.

Your kitchen junk drawer needs one – Got a junk/utility drawer somewhere with a weird assortment of batteries? Of course; we all do. And it probably has a bunch of random loose batteries rattling around. Some of which are brand new, some partially used, and some which are bad or close to it. Take the guesswork out and avoid throwing away perfectly serviceable batteries. Keep a cheap, analog battery tester like this one in that drawer and quickly know which are duds and which have more power left to give. Also useful for checking batteries when troubleshooting devices.

A must for any household that uses non-rechargable batteries – I use this product regularly, as while I have some rechargeable batteries in high-usage items, I have more non-rechargeable batteries of varying sizes elsewhere. This tool is indispensible in seeing whether one or more batteries in an item is dead, bad (in the red), borderline, or good. Recently, in a three-battery product, I found that one of the three was bad, but not the other two. Savings: two batteries in each of two of that item, with the two others headed for battery recycling. In a third of that item, all three batteries were good, they were all inserted properly and making contact, thus it was the item itself that stopped working, thus the item hit the trash. This battery tester can be a bit slippery at times, but I can’t think of a design improvement that would lesson that fact. Bottom line: this is an extremely useful tool that works on most non-rechargable battery sizes and is a staple in my cabinet where I store my new batteries.

Works as advertised. – This little tester is sold under various name brands but regardless it still works as advertised. You know when your electronic device goes dead it’s usually just one battery that goes bad then then you end up throwing out three outta four good batteries when it was just one bad cell. Double check your batteries and save money! Good buy!
