Has worked well for a few years. We bought another. – Has worked fine for a few years now. So we recently purchased another. It uses a different power plug on the end of the cord, so the older version of the same model’s power supply won’t connect to the newer version.

Great, but could use a few updates – The ZipSnip does exactly what it says it will do. It handled thick cardboard and plastic packaging very well. It makes short work of cutting down boxes with fairly minimal effort. The battery life on these is great, just don’t forget where you placed the charging cable.

Great idea not as practical as a knife or blade. – Unfortunately, with this product, I’m not as able to break down boxes as I would with a cheaper blade. Though I do like the fact that it is electric, it is cumbersome to hold down the on button and also the lock button and cut. Additionally, it’s not as easy to maneuver in the corners of boxes since it has a guard on it. For boxes that are already flat and you are looking to cut those down, this is a great product! But for cutting the tape off the corners of boxes, I would just use a regular kitchen knife, and it was more effective.

Great for box cutting! – Got this as I was fed up when moving and assembling new furniture with the boxes that were piling up! Those boxes are also thick and hard to dissemble.. I thought this would cut it like “butter” but it still struggles at times, however, I can’t argue with the fact that it can cut things up pretty quickly and I don’t have to worry about the boxes piling up anymore :)!
