The Best Carpet Tape!! – This carpet tape is the ONLY one worth buying!! I originally purchased this for a 2’x7′ hallway runner about 4 months ago, and that rug has not moved an inch in all this time!! It gets a fair amount of traffic from two retired adults daily. If I remember correctly, I ran three strips the full length of the runner, with full width strips every 1.5-2 feet or so. Have had a 5’x7′ area rug in the TV room that I have been wanting to try this tape on as well, as even several pieces of furniture have not been able to hold the rug in place. We decided to rearrange the room recently, so this gave me the chance to apply the tape. Running four strips down the 7′ length and a full width piece every 1.5-2 feet left me a little short (from the roll I used on the hallway rug). I purchased another roll that Amazon Prime delivered the next day, and I was able to finish taping the last two feet of the rug. I believe it will hold just as well as it did in the hallway. Both rugs are taped down onto wall to wall short pile carpet. Best carpet tape ever!

Once the outer wrap of cellophane is removed, the exposed edges of the tape roll are VERY sticky. They pick up any small particle of dirt that the tape roll comes in contact with. There is no good way to store this tape. My solution was to wrap the roll in Saran Wrap for storage.

Really sticky – So I got these to put down carpet tiles in my rabbits area. The tape gets a little hard to cut after a few peaces as tye scissors got sticky from the adhesive. And once the carpet tile was down there was no adjusting it, which over all is a good thing. Didn’t hold down the tile under the leg of my couch that tends to shift a bit cuse I sits part on carpet and part on my laminate flooring. Oh, and the rabbit was still able to chew up the edges, but um not sire that was the types fault. Possible no tape or glue could keep the rabbit chewing at bay.

Perfect for rugs on tile and hardwood – I was a little concerned about adhesion and residue (too strong, with possible issues removing). But I’m happy to say that aside from the tape sticking a bit to my scissors while cutting, I was able to tape a runner and 3 small area rugs with no problems. I even made a mistake and had to pull up both a rug and runner to readjust without a problem. Tape stayed in place. I pulled a piece of tape up and reapplied to a different area just to test if any residue. No residue. I’m hoping it will be the same experience after months on the floor. Perfectly satisfied for now as my rugs are no longer sliding around!
