Works as described – I have been really grateful to have this timer for my outside house lights (and hummer heater!) this year. I appreciate that it is easy to “set” to the times I want the lights on/off. Also has an “on” setting, if i just want to turn on the lights. It is a little cumbersome for an outdoor plug, if your outlet has a cover, but we have been able to make it work by using the lower outlet and sort of hanging the timer on a nail (there is a loop to hang on body of timer). It does mean that i cannot use the upper of the two outlets, but the timer itself has two places to plug in cords.

One Peg from Perfect! – I have two I use for my patio night accent lighting. One right out of the box had one peg that is stuck in the up position. Tried to force it down and no luck. It worked the first time last night. Though I haven’t confirmed today’s operation. As daylight grows longer and summer comes, a change of the timing will require a different peg arrangement. I’ll report back to revise this review when I attempt to change the peg positions.

Good timer works well with Christmas lights – Satisfied with the product. To make sure it is waterproof it should be hung so the outlet is facing towards the ground. This was not a problem.

a great little timer – I like this timer. I bought it to use with my outdoor lighting. I needed a timer with more than one outlet and this one has two. It is easy to set. It comes with all the tabs in the down position, so you will need to push all of them to the up position first. you then push down the ones where you want to set the time you wish to have your device to run. It works like a charm. It is very sturdy and I like the idea that it comes with a plastic cover that keeps the weather out.
