Why can’t I tear it lengthwise anymore? – Great tape. I have been using it for several years. I especially like it because it leave so little residue compared to other brands of duct tape. My only question is, what changed. For years I could easily tear it lengthwise. The last 2 batches I received don’t tear lengthwise. That was a nice feature as it saved tape and I go through several rolls of this a week. Did the supplier change or did the manufacturing process change?
